My favorite memory of Huy
Laughing as the locals in China look strangely at Huy as they realize that he does not speak Chinese.

I met him playing polo at the Dallas Polo Club. His girlfriend was extremely kind. His San Saba team was great and he has beautiful polo ponies.
I was walking along the back streets of Xi’an, China in the Muslim district when I spotted two beautiful women in the distance. I walked to them, gave them my biggest smile, and said hello.
After hearing their Italian accents my heart was melted. I impressed them with my vast knowledge of the Italian language—enough to say hello, goodbye, and a few useful phrases like “Are there many animals in your house?”.
They were looking for a site, so I volunteered to take them there. The only problem was I did not know where it was.
We finally found it, but it had already closed by the time we arrived. I did not mind as it gave me more time to spend with the two of them.
And now we are sure to be lifelong friends.
CIAO BELLA!!!

Except being fooled into thinking I am someone worth meeting, she seems like she has everything going for her.
With friends describing her as friendly, fun, smart and spontaneous, how can I not want to meet her?!?
I love his travel-ocity and his ability to carpe diem. His pictures are beautiful and really capture the spirit of the locale. He also seems very congenial, family oriented, and above all…has a great smile.
She’s one cool cat. The way she masters different languages in different countries is amazing. And by that I mean the way she tries to speak one language (ie French) in another country (ie Italy) is amazing. ;) xox
